Getting Started


After I released Tap the Thing! into the world, I decided I wanted to make a first-person 3-D story game with a limited scope. It would take place in one room and be filled with purchased assets. I spent much of the second half of 2022 and the beginning half of 2023 working on this game in Unity with my writing partner. The momentum and inspiration started to falter, so I decided to make a clean break with the project. You can read about it here if you’d like.

Down will be an atypical puzzle platformer developed in Unreal Engine using Paper2D/PaperZD. I hope to incorporate some story elements, but am focusing primarily on making a fun complete prototype. I’m super excited about the project and can’t wait to share more in the coming weeks and months.
